Thinking of making a trip to Rhodes Pond,but it seems no one is sure if it is fishable, has water, or even any access. Anyone got an update or looked at it lately? would like to save not having to waste a 2 plus Hr. drive for nothing. Thanks. Paul

Should be low but fishable. Haven't been in a year or two but haven't heard of access being closed. Not worth the drive in my opinion. Very pretty place to paddle though. And it even has gators.

I wouldn't do it my friend. They had lowered it again to a trickle in the past year for dam repairs and upgrades.

I stopped by on Thursday to take a look at it on my way home from Fayetteville. Couple of guys were fishing from the banks and under the bridge. Took a photo, not much water

took my 10' there and put in...hard to find any water deeper than 1-1.5 ft. i went when it was colder. definitely some fish but you couldn't fish many ways beyond topwater...and im not sure if that would even work. i went when the a recent rain storm had raised the levels but even then i got hung up on the ground trying to navigate the water.

I used to fish there all the time. Hasn't been worth the drive even from Fayetteville in a few years.
