Went to the Roanoke today was a little windy and cold! No stripers yet for me! only a few cats! I was using cut shad and lures near plymouth! Let me know if anyone has any luck soon!

Thanks for the update HARGROVE. They are gonna get in the river good pretty soon. you know it sems like every spring the wind seems to get up good during the day when we fish on that river. I think our next trip we are gonna try in the Late afternoon and see how we do after dark - the wind usually seems to calm down in the evening

Have never fished the Roanoke before.What section of the river seems to be the best? Thanks for any suggestions.
