Throw out a bottom rig and catch catfish or use a cork and bobber for bream, perch, and bass. Supposed to be raining the next few days. Might stir things up and get the catfish bite going. Then again it might mess things up.
Thanks I See there is a tackle shop across the street , so if I don't have it I can get it. I did look at some pics that have been posted about williamston nc water front and the walk on the river looks nice. My wife has a meeting and I take her and that gives me a chance to wet a hook. Last month I take her to a meeting in Plymouth but get hooked on history and never wet a line. So this time I'll try cat fishing with my large rod (sand spike wire tied to the railing or piling) and cane pole to watch the cork. Mybe the rain will break for me
