my first time to this river. We fished right infront of the chimney rock.

He caught his limit You will have to excuse any mistakes here I dont spin fish, but i know some of you would like to know his info.
ALL 7 fish were caught using same set up.going to ad pictures of his fish. forgot to take pictures of my own.

The Last and biggest fish was actually made from atop this bridge. We were leaving and hugh say a big boy swimming in the pool below. I said I bet he could cast into it from here so he did. After 3 attempts he hoock the largest fish of the day. With no way to pull it to the top of bridge I took off running. 5 min later with fish in hand we left with Hugh at his limit.

finally here is the fish Hugh caught. First time using camera so I forgot to take my own fish. I think the 4th one to the right is the same guy I caught on the hairs ear. I showed hugh where and he went to get him less than 5 min from when i got him.

b.h. haven't fished the broad in years even though it's in my backyard (not literally) caught a decent 18' rainbow that was the color of a new quarter. caught him on a glo bug and he fought like a train. we figure he had run up from lake lure. may have to try once again though as you've got me thinking about another one of those lake run rainbows.

18" That would be awsome! I do know that while we were their hugh had one bite thru his line. It was 6lb test I think. Who knows the size he was. Also the last trout we caught wasent the biggest in the pool. Their was one alot bigger than him in their.
