Am wanting to retire to the Wilmington area and buy one of the tiny houses available. Does anyone know of a RV park or a private land that would let me park it there for a few years. Am not talking right away, maybe 2-3 years down the road when am done caring for elderly parent. Will need electricity and will be working still so can be responsible for payments. Would prefer private property vs. RV camp. Anyone have something available? Am quiet, clean and have indoor pets. Any help out there? Thanks Guys and Ladies...

For that a month you might want to look into buying a lot in the country outside town. As long as zoning allows tiny houses I would give you peace of mind knowing it is yours. here is an example. https://wilmington.craigslist.org/reb/5070166276.html

ok but with one small change in any zoning law or occupancy law and you're homeless on a rented lot and the Gov't is frowning upon "tiny houses" in many states now. Just be aware.. Once you own it, you have some "grandfathering" rights.
