When filling your boat or vehicle with gas or oil , you may get some on your hands, so what I've found that really works well for me is to wash my hands afterwards and then while launching, prior to baiting up, wetting my hands ,and with some table salt , scrubbing them a time or two , gets that gas smell off .
Works well for hunting too.

A little baking soda goes a long way as far as scent control goes. Salt and baking soda together might be better than either on alone. For hunting the best product I have ever used was Tink's no stink camo soap. I've been undetected on the ground 15 yds upwind of deer before. That admittedly was with everything washed with it and using the same stuff as a mouthwash. I don't know if they still make it or not. It was a chlorophyll,. baking soda based concotion. AL
