9/13 fishing Report

For the past week we continue to have plenty of Blues and small spanish....not much coming from the King rigs lately....on the bottom seeing a few spots and mullet after dark and Pompano during the day....Still seeing the occasional flounder and drum and spadefish....weather has been wacky...either to windy and the water choppy or hot and water clean and calm....either way I've got a group of fair weather fisherman....they only fish when the weather is FAIR

Rains a' comin'!!! so the temp will drop and it will be "hooks-a-flyin" soon!!!

I looked at a 2 week animated loop of the Atlantic Sea Surface Temperatures today On the NOAA site. The water is definitely cooling in the hotter areas like the Gulf and the Gulfstream. The Labrador Current is also pushing down toward Oregon Inlet. It will be interesting to watch that loop again in a few days. I expect to see some significant changes over the next several days.
