I am saddened today by the news that my Uncle now is terminal. He had a stroke a few years back and now had another. He is a Korean Vet and was at the VA Hospital in Salisbury due to the first stroke. They now are moving him back here to our local Hospice. I will give a little history. He owned and operated a garage for over 40 years. You know the country type, people just came by to hang out. He had one son who was my friend as well as my cousin. He was hit by a drunk driver and killed at the age of 23. My uncle and I were close but after that we became even closer. I look at this man as a second father. He taught me so much and did all he could to help. We fished together, we hunted, we worked, we hung out, and we laughed. I pray now he will suffer no more. God will be recieving a great man.

Sad news. Both of you are in my thoughts and prayers. It is by loss that we understand greatness.... sounds like a great man.

Father, I pray that you will receive Crummy's uncle and not allow him to suffer another minute of this earth's pain. I also pray that you will comfort Crummy and his family at this time as no matter the circumstance for us as mere men a loss like this is tough to bare. I know that you know that Lord and that you will be faithful to comfort them. Flood their minds with the cherished memories that will bring joy during this time.
Thank you Father, in Jesus name I pray, Amen!

Crummy,
Prayers sent for you and your family.
Romans 10:13 , "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
There's nothing more wonderful than having the assurance that when we leave this earthly life we step into eternity with our Lord. It's that assurance that gives us peace in our hearts that the world (the lost) cannot understand.

Crummy, you might be wondering who will take his place. If so, just look in the mirror and say "I'll do the best I can." We are all teachers in one way or another at some point. It is not necessarily just our own children that we should look out for.
