I went out to Shearon Harris today with my buddy who has come with me a couple times. We pushed off just after 7 to a beautiful sunrise and a little chilly temperatures. He snapped a great picture of me fishing as the sun was rising. I used a buzzbait and a lipless crankbait around the grass beds. Fished until about 10. I caught 6 bass including a 3 and a 3.5 pounder, nothing was smaller than 1.5 and the fish are looking super healthy and are incredibly active. My buddy finally caught his first bass at shearon harris and was a good 3 pound bass. He switched to a buzzbait after I called a couple. He finished with 2 bass. Overall, fishing is getting really good and the weather once the sun comes up is perfect. Good luck to everyone.
