After some Mother's Day festivities I had a little time to get out into the woods for some quietness.

Quite a few of these came to hand:

All types of wildlife hanging around. The blurry picture was a small ring neck snake. Had a bright yellow band around its neck. Very fast. The bigger snake was maybe a black rat snake doing it's thing in a small tree.

After last week's endeavor I needed new wading boots severely. Got em wet for the first time today. Sweet kicks for sure.

Great quick outing. Good fishing.
