Went sight casting for skinny water Reds with Capt. Tommy Mungo ( Inshore Stealth Charters ).
Watch them tailing is an amazing site. To see that many fish swim off will get your heart pumping.

Throwing topwaters, we had some impressive blow ups, some incredible "eats" & amazing fights. A few double hook ups.
We caught 15 Reds (all CPR) a few over slot on a variety of topwaters, two on Gulp & a Flounder, tonight's dinner.
Note to self,,,,,, keep wearing my lucky blue shirts.

Beautiful morning, slick calm glassy conditions & cooperative fish.
Can't wait to do it again. ....... ICM

Scott, make sure it's a solid blue. Today's blue shirt with white got out fished.
I caught a Jack, a Blue & a Seagull all on topwater.
Was busy taking the trash out for DavidC. He had a 3.5# Trout, 2 fat spikes & 2 over slot Reds.......ICM

I will wear it when I come down to fish with you in mid October.

We had a 2 man limit on pelicans once on the lower Cape Fear. The limit is one per angler per day. Man what a mess, we decided it was time to move when we both caught our limit.....

Wore my blue shirt today. I may not have caught the most, or the biggest fish, but I had a wonderful day of fishing with my son. I did catch my first fish on a popping cork, however, a nice slot red drum. Maybe there is something to this "blue shirt" thing...
