Bruce and I decided to invade Uncle C's territory for a couple days last week. We stayed @ Bay View Marina in [-]Spencer[/-] Scranton NC. Things came together for us Friday, (after a not so stellar Thursday afternoon), and we were able to put some good fish in the boat.

Ended the day with almost our limit of just barely legal trout, one just barely legal drum(on the other end of legal), and a solidly legal flounder(and a just edible croaker).

Saturday the wind had shifted and picked up .... the trout weren't chewin but we did find a flatfish or 3 .. only managed to put one keeper in the boat.

Added to the Friday catch we left for home with a good cooler of fine eatin!

Your posts are posting fine but are in moderation. As noted in your welcome email/PM:

New members are placed in a "Newbie" category and their first 4-5 posts are automatically placed in moderation and they have no access to Private Messages. Once 4-5 posts have been made and approved the member is moved into the "Angler Member" category. We do this to fight registration SPAM. Since implementing this registration system for new members we've had no SPAM problems in our online angler community.

So welcome aboard and just be patient with us on your first 4-5 posts. Moderators are volunteers and we're not online all the time so we'll approve the posts as quickly as possible. One caveat, of course is that posts must meet our "family-friendly" guidelines and we do not allow free advertising. Other than that posts are approved within a matter of minutes or hours, not days.

Spencer, NC?

That's near Salisbury. I didn't know we had flounder in Rowan county!
