Has anyone been fishing Slocum Creek? Going to Cherry Point Saturday through Monday, hoping our 7 year old grandson can catch a speck or flounder. Any fishing reports will be appreciated! Thanks!!

Haven't caught many trout yet, but the bass fishing is wide open in the back of the creeks.

I went there about two weeks ago and caught one 24 inch trout, but that was all

Yeah we snuck out last sunday during that blow and only caught on trout and a drum.
