I'm not asking for "secret spots" but I want to take my boat into Slocum Creek this week to try out my new wireless trolling motor. Never used a foot controller before. Anyway I figure while I am out there I may as well try some fishing. If I put in there at the visitors center and head left, how far do I need to go before I can start fishing for trout/drum/rock/flounder? I don't want to go where everyone else is since I may be a nuisance trying to learn this new motor. Thanks Guys.

You can start getting into them at the blue pin on this map and will find them all the way out to the mouth of the creek

Thanks Trigger. Unfortunately it looks like Thursday will be the earliest I can get out and with an 18 degree morning I may have to wait til next week.
