Some of the creeks I fish don't get real deep and narrow at the back. Way in the back of the creek they are only 1-2 foot deep. We know trout go for the deep holes in cold weather so where do the trout in these primarily shallow creeks go? C lane knows where I like to fish so are there trout in there in January-February?

Yep but prob not where I think you are talking about. Try the best branch of creeks from where you are fishing and docks with deeper water

So basically the trout will still be there in the cold just not in the back of the creeks. Yeah I think I know where your talking. The other creek connected. I think I was too far back Saturday as it looks like most of the boats were turning around about where I stopped.
