Ok. It's in Tennessee but I'm thinking about a fly fishing trip to south holston river for some trout.

Anyone have any advice about availability of good access points to wade? Best time of year? Whether you really need to get a guide to get on the fish, etc. I've got a 14' Gheenoe so I could also float a section.

thanks

During the summer it gets a lot of pressure. When the generation is up the big pigs come out to eat groceries. Throw streamers again' the bank, in seams, around blowdowns, ledges and such. If there is no water generating its always been very frustrating to me. Others can help you there.
