Don't the Spanish usually start showing up closer to the beach in April, or am I wrong? I probably won't be able to get down to Emerald Isle until around April, but possibly before. But if they are around when I'm down there for Spring Break in April I'll be at Bogue Inlet Pier casting a Gotcha! So, around what time do they normally start showing up?

I've got mine the last few years at the end of April off Sea View Pier. They will show up after the blue fish. So at least 68 degree water or warmer.

Atlantic Bonito show up around the middle of April near the beach and usually the Spanish are about a week or 10 days behind them. So about the last week of April is about right most years (they were a few days later last year due to the cold winter, likely this year too).
