Ok so not the normal trout that get posted here but hit up my favorite saltwater hole today looking for specs reds and flounder. Found 1/3 but found them well. Caught this nice 20in on my new TFO BVK 7wt, and it worked perfectly. Got one other that was a carbon copy of this one and a 15in to finish out the day. Threw back I don't even know how many right at 13 - 13.999999. All in all a good day of fishing with Dad.

Very nice! We went out on the OBX out of Oregon Inlet about a month ago. Caught 3 specs on the fly using a Sage Xi3 5wt. They certainly put more of a bend in the long rod than the other specs I'm used to!!

I think this one is on a clouser tied with white belly, crystal flash/grey sides and a black back with a strip of charchuse on the top.

I'll post a pic of what I used once I get home.
