Went to Kure beach pier about 5 am Sunday morning.
Spots were running pretty good. Got 24 in 2 hours.
Just enough for the family and friends for Sunday dinner.
Fake bait was the ticket.
Back home by 8 oclock.
Fun time!

Very nice! Using fishbites? People are too crazy for me to fish off the pier when they are running. I dont do the 3 deep on one side of the pier crap...

There is no perspective on the cooler picture. If that is a six pack cooler they are bitty little spots. If it is an 80 qt. cooler, they are jumbo boar humpy backs.

Pretty spots . I got into them Friday night at holden beach . catching them 2 at a time for a hour . Sure was fun ...

Did you catch them in the surf or pier at Holden? Have you had any luck toward the end near the inlet?

They been catching them a North Topsail for a couple of weeks every time the wind is from the NE
