Don't know the water temp, I don't use a fish finder, but three specks and one drum fell prey to a zara spook jr, topwater plug.
Uh Oh - we're closing in on cracking the code. Just have to figure out what the other 24 fish fell to and where that secret spot was. Too bad we didn't get a mole out there with him today... (lucky mole would have had tired arms from reeling in fish!)...three specks and one drum fell prey to a zara spook jr, topwater plug.
live menhaden and live mullets brought the majority to the boat.Uh Oh - we're closing in on cracking the code. Just have to figure out what the other 24 fish fell to and where that secret spot was. Good day out there Bread Man!
I issued an open invitation. I don't think my requirements were too extreme
. I was on the water at 6 am. Fished till 11 with only one fish. From 11 until 3, it was all I could do to keep up. The fish in the picture are a representation of the spotted pin fish, and the speckled pin fish. Didn't catch any monsters, just decent fish.
Final tally
flounder= 1
trout= 15
reds= 12
A friend of mine gigging Monday night in a certain inlet in your backyard(you know which one) ran up on a school of spe... pinfish that were in the 3-5 pound range. He told me today. Some found their fate at the end of a gig. He showed me some pics of the pinfish, so I believe him. I fished it two entire days last week, and couldn't find anything but flounder and spotted pinfish. Might need to be checked out this week.So much for the code of secrecy among speck fisherman![]()

I will let you know for sure.Let me know if anything is to it.
