My good neighbor took me speck fishing yesterday and today. We caught 13 keepers yesterday 18 today. Neighborhood fish fry tomorrow night. I cannot reveal locations of catch for fear I will be put adrift in Drum Inlet during an outgoing tide in a powerless and leaking old skiff.

Hold me a spot at the table! Seriously I was just looking at todays Sea Surface Temperarture Charts and core sound was showing 65 in some shallow areas. The same general temp as New River. I'm sure the temp a couple of feet down is less though.Plenty of 75 deg. water offshore with some of it pretty close in. AL
