Just returning from our second honeymoon, a celebration of our eighth anniversary. We stayed in Grand Case, on the French side of St. Martin.
I brought a rod and reel, with a small tackle box, all fitting in my luggage. A six foot medium action rod, with 12 pound test. If I were to do it again, I would definitely bring a bigger, heavier rod and braid. But I brought what would fit in my luggage and had a good time.
The first pic is my best catch ever. We are enjoying one of the many gourmet restaurants in Grand Case.
The next pics are the only two fish I caught, a needlefish and a small barracuda. Both were caught on a gotcha plug.
