Little more info for the ponds are actually really good i fish there 1-3 times a week to pass time the fish are not huge but there are plenty to go around make sure you have you licence ready though the wardens love to patrol out there, there are ony fish that i know of in the first two ponds the front ponds fish are bigger bout 3 pounds and the back pond about 2 pounds a lot easier to catch in the back pond the wardens told me that they have been recently stocked thats why they are so small havent been though many spawning periods havent found all the tricks for the ponds shiners work best in the front caught few on artifical and is completly oppisite for the back pond there are brim unsure for cats, it is game land so during hunging season got to whatch for hunters and there are alot of snakes hope this helps you a little more let me know if you have any trouble

i have yet to take a boat out there havent got one yet but will be here in the next month, how is the fishing with the cold weather, if you get a chance use a top water in the shallows they will explode on it and mostly soft plastics

Thanks i apprciate it i will have to try them out when i get back to the states, i have lived in NC for the past 2 years and have been to a lot of places but not those yet i usally just get on google maps look for blue and drive never know how it will work out thats how i found stones creek game land and always looking for new spots since the base ponds are pretty dry and feel like i catch the same fish over and over again, having some extra time finding nc angler has been a lot of help so far, i have been to clocations but have found that (fishing works) show more places and have a spot to look for reviews even though it dose show private lakes it will usally say, i am looking for a little pond hopper for when i get back to increase my odds i am orginally from FL and have a lot of fishing down there in one location rather up here its spread out a little more but when you find a spot its pretty good, as of right now been fishing maysville pay ponds, mom and pops pay ponds in kenensville, all base ponds, southwest creek, and the game land always looking for more i stick to bass mainly but you cant beat catching shell crackers on very light tackle, and a little bit of inshore saltwater and hunting, have you found any lakes with lillys in them thats my favorite piece of structure to fish and havent found them up here

they are the right set of ponds but those you have to walk to the smaller ones to the north grouped with four in the same spot are the ones we where talking about i have been out to some of the other one no one goes out there except for hunters and when i went out to them didnt even see a minnow i am sure there might be some in there but you would need a boat to find out and since you cant drive back there its really hard to get one there thank you though
