Never fear fishing before a storm front!! Thunder/Lightning roaring overhead in the distance and The smell of rain in the air. Lightning has struck three times for me this year on Jordan Lake, with three 7+ pound largemouth. Fishing deep with weighted worms,jigs and crankbaits have been the ticket for big bass. Today it was on a chartreuse Strike King KVD series crankbait. Mainly fishing in 6-12ft of water over rocky points, submerged trees, creek channels and roadbeds.

Nice fish! 3 lightening strikes=3 bass? Ummmm. Were you using a graphite rod? And were you in an aluminum boat? Just asking.
(Never mind. I just noticed where this is posted. )
