Hi There,
I do most of my fsihing out on the Eno River.
A few bass patrol the waters there but they quite often seemed spooked.
Clear water and in the summer, low water levels make the fishing a bit more difficult. Does anyone have suggestions on other streams to fish in the Raleigh area. I like to wade but don't mind fishing friom the bank either.

Welcoem to NCAngler! I use to live very near the Eno in the 80's and fished it all the time. I love that river. I don't know of any others in that area, sorry. There are several nice lakes though.

I've spent some nice quiet time throwing lines into Jordan and Bond lake, but as you'll notice from my posting history (and lots of snide replies) haven't caught anything but sticks. I take that to mean I've got more to learn. I'm eager to hear what you learn about nearby streams -- that could be a new place for me to gather firewood, ha ha!

New Hope Creek, Haw River

Two places close by are New Hope Creek which flows through Duke Forest (above Jordon Lake) and the Haw R where it enters Jordon.
