need help..
Not sure specifically what area(s) you need help but I'll start with this:

Try casting bucktails or Calcutta flash foil swim shads in white or other light colors. Good place to start is Point Peter - that is where the Cape Fear and the NE Cape Fear rivers split (or join depending on which way you are headed). Then the west bank from there to the Isabella Holmes bridge and around the bridge.

Last few hours of the falling tide is best. There is a lot of metal junk and sunk boats in the shallows along that bank and the striper love to hang out there. There is also a ledge at about the 8-12' mark then it drops again to 20 or more, that ledge is a good spot to try too.

Some folks troll for them in the channel down by the oil docks (south of the Memorial Bridge.

I've caught a few in there so let me know if you have any more questions.
