Hi, does anyone know the names and phone numbers of any striper fishing guides in the New Bern area. Also, is the Neuse River good striper fishing area? Someone also said Roanoke River was good striper fishing but what towns would have guides etc.

Am new to the area and just joined NC Angler. Appreciate the input.

Don't know about any of them except the Roanoke. A couple more weeks and the stripers should be up in the upper section of the Roanoke. They are starting in from the ocean now. Weldon is the town where we go to. There are several guides that run that area. I am familiar with Striper Sniper, Hot Spot (both come to this site), and Polecat Creek Outfitters (from around Greensboro). I think all of them guide up on the Roanoke some. There is also Roanoke River Outfitters right there at the boat ramp in Weldon. Hope this helps.
