I saw something on television a few weeks back about striper fishing in the Nags Head area in January and I have just GOT to try that. I am thinking I could get a small group of friends to share the expenses but since I know nothing about that area, I think I should probably hire a guide or charter a boat the first time out.
Any suggestions on a good guide in the area?

Some of the charter boats are moving up to Rudee Inlet for the season because the fish just haven't made it all the way down to Oregon Inlet the past couple years. Rick Caton aboard the Free agent is the best of the best.
