Sunday, I got a late start with my crowd and knew the Spanish bite was probably over. It was going to be a short trip and not time to catch bait for targeting the bigger spanish. Pulled Clarks and small Drones and caught a couple of small spanish and blues before moving deeper towards the AR. Found a group of schoolie kings that one other boat was working and they were hungry. Made two passes with all four rods hooking up both times on sub-legal fish in the 20"-22" range. Switched out the small spoons to bigger Drones hoping for some legal fish and couldn't buy a bite. Moved on.

The other guy had four teenagers on-board his boat and they were "loading up". I'll assume they thought the fish were spanish.

Make sure you check the lateral lines and the tip of the dorsal fin for proper ID. Spanish is 15/day per person at 12" and king is 3/day per person at 24".
