Spent 5 hours working the shore at Sunset harbor boat ramp yesterday. Used cut bait on one line, and tried different jigs/lures on the other. Nothing. The folks on the pier had no luck either ( and they were trying lots of diffent combinations as well). Spoke with someone bringing their boat back, and he said he had seen a few flounder back aways in the coves.

As the tide went out, the weeds got worse on the line making it very hard to even tell if a fish was nibbling.

A fun day in some perfect weather for fishing!

Peter

edited to add that on the way home I drove over to Clem's seafood by the old oak island bridge and got some trigger fish and shrimp to take home for dinner :p
