I just noticed the Bass Pro Shop prices on Ocean Master surf rods is as good as they probably will ever get. If any of you guys are thinking of a new surf rod for Christmas you better check these out. These rods compare favorably with those in the $220-$320 price range and are just under $90.00. If you decide to buy it might benifit NC Angler to access them thru this site. AL

Last Christmas I caught a sale at Bass Pro Shops. I was also allowed to trade in a couple of old reels for their refurbish and distribute program for kids in need. With the sale and the trade in combined, I got a couple of new Diawa Emblem Pro 5500s that match well with the 11' Ocean Master rods. I wish I could get that kind of deal every time I want to upgrade. See if BPS is doing that Trade in deal again.
