I work in NE Va and since I tend to spend a lot of time here I decided to start hauling my kayak up here so when I do have a few hours off I can wet a hook. This time of the year can be kind of exciting in the Chesapeake Bay and it's tributaries because the temps are dropping and the stripers are moving. The other day I had some time so I took off to Tappahannock to fish under the Rappahannock River bridge. This was my first trip out on this body of water and I will say that I had a blast and it was educational. I only caught one striper however, I still had fun.
