That is right. The IFA Redfish tour has finally decided to have tournament in NC. June 7, 2008 Surf City. Unfortunately this is the same day as Military Appreciation Day III.

Great (IFA) & bummer (date). Well at least we are getting a tourney, finally. Others have started to come to NC too - the redfish are coming!

You think this will be held at the Wildlife ramp at the bridge or has the old Bush's been taken over by the town and it will be held there.

I'm beating they use Sound Side Park in Surf City - where the wild life ramp is located. Because it has a dock with screened-in building that makes it nice for the weigh in. They also have a large parking area, the space for the captain's meeting, leader board etc. That is were my club has held the TOFC KMT the last 2 years and it really works well.

Bush's marina was bought by the town of Topsail Beach, well the ramp anyway. It's run as a concession by a private contractor for the town and they don't have the space or accessibility that Sound Side Park has.
