Anyone fishing Tillery right now that might have some pointers for a newbie? I fish quite a bit with a buddy of mine at some smaller local lakes. He is an excellent bass fisherman. I'm very fortunate to have caught some very nice fish with him. He works on the weekend so I usually go to Tillery to try for striped bass, but have had no luck yet. I've tried live bait, crankbait, and spinners. Just can't get on them. Anyone got any ideas for me? By the way, I put in at Lillys bridge...maybe I should go elsewhere? Thanks in advance.

If I were going tomorrow, I would troll between Mountain Creek and Sugarloaf. Should be a good current going through there right now.

Try trolling some 3 to 4 inch sassy shads (white and chartreuse) on 3/8 jig heads. Pull these about 2.3 to 2.5 mph, about 3 feet above the fish marks.
