Hey Lefty, try putting in near deep water early am to find some specks and then when that dies down hit the channel edges or any structure you can find til lunch. then if the sun has been out and warming things up get back into the shallow black mudflats for redfish. Carry you a ruler cause sooner or later you will want it for fish pics. (The best ones have a few numbers missing between 3" and 12".:D )

Hey, guess what I found at the flea market for $5.00 ?? Lefty Stix!!!! Actually a pair of carbon fiber ski poles. Strong and stiff and feather light. Just right for crossing those ultra shallow spots. I wish the old guy had 2 pr so I could make a lightweight gaff and a stakeout pole.
