Topsail fly fishing?
I'm in topsail for a few days, and have never done any saltwater fly fishing, so I was wondering where and what I can catch? All I have is my 5wt rod with 6wt floating line. Any and all suggestions are welcome!

Yeah ICM be here till tuesday.
A quick comment: Your gear is a bit on the light side. Most the fish you will catch will be small but casting with wind and heavy leader/flies will be hard. Also most reels that small are not made to handle salt or big fish.
That said you can fly fish the surf if your a good at reading the sand. Your best bet is the intercostal though you'll need to sit on something that floats to get to the good spots.
