We hit the water early this morning and had our first top water red pulling drag at 5:40. Caught a few more about every 15 minutes or so apart before my Son in law pulled out the gold spoon and landed a nice 26" red to finish the morning off about 9 o'clock. Had 2 keeper flounder in the mix as well that hit a paddle tail. Loaded the boat and carried the ladies out to breakfast. Wish every day went that well.

We made that last stop on the way out to try and get my spoon back! A big red was over there swimming around with it in his mouth. We didn't catch him but Jamie caught his daddy..

By the way, you should be at work today instead of playing hookie.
