On my trailer is a sticker that indicates after EVERY trip I should take a torque wrench and torque each nut on the trailer to a specified (on the sticker) torque.

Every trip ?? Really ??

Do you?

Manufacturer's CYA policy. Label on my mattress says do not remove under penalty of law too.

Use common sense. Nuts and bolts can loosen with use and vibration from a trailer. Check them after changing a tire, etc. and once in a while after that. How often do you check the lug nuts on your car?

Mine get torqued every time I change a tire and maybe a few miles later to ensure they are all tight on that hub. Thousands of miles and no issues, I have never found a loose nut.
