I am installing trim tabs on my boat. I am questioning which side of the console to install the control panel. For those that have controls on your boat, is it installed on the steering wheel hand or throttle hand? What do you recommend?

In my opinion the "free" hand is the one for controls. Then you have one on the wheel at all times.

My tab controls are located between steering wheel and throttle on my console--I use throttle hand to operate tab switches--left hand for steering--right for throttle
