Beautiful day on tha water today with my nephew kevin who has been on vacation this week but has developed a disease called " fishtitis " and it will probably take another week or two to get over it . We had our limit by 820 this morning and fished on lookin for miss fat gal but she was again missin in action . Ended up catchin 23 nice trout on mr27 808, twitchin rap gold chrome and pin fish color by mr. Haddock . Nice meeting jimmy dupree from tarboro today and took a pic of him with a nice trout . Will be back next week lookin that big thang !!!!

Curtis how Dee is the water where you are tossing the 17s and 27s? I Bought some 18s because I felt like I was too swallow but the water has warmed up a good deal.

caught them today in 4-5 ft. water temp was up to 56 when the sun came out . also i have discovered the fishing on the neuse creeks is alot different than those on the new river !!!

Thanks! I think the fish have spread out some with the water temps. I wanna go search for Reds but probably won't do it tomorrow.

That should be illegal - The Chrises & Curtis should not be allowed to fish within 50 sq miles of each other.

Nice. We three limited out in 45 mins two weeks ago. Culling to get all 4-5 pounders. Next year will be special barring a freeze or commercial net break.
