Fished Striking Bay yesterday. The weather was the best I have seen all year while on the water and there was bait all around. At the end of the day we caught 12 with two 16"keepers. My wife lost two at the boat and those would have been keepers.
After a great day yesterday I decided to give it another go today but the weather was not as good as the wind had picked up. I fished the backside of Striking Bay today coming home with 1 17" and let a shorty go. It has been a great weekend!!

Great report Neptune! Glad to hear the fishing was better! And I hear you on the netting challenges. I missed netting a flounder for a buddy of mine 10 years ago and TO THIS DAY I hear about it every trip.

It was a nice flounder, though, and I really did botch it!
