Hey Guys,

Im heading up to the Virginia creeper trail and white top laurel area in a weeks. Anyone know how the fish are doing up there with the drought and all, also any pointers on fall trout fishing?

We were up there a couple months ago and saw lots of fish. The water was a little low but not bad. I didnt do any fishing, we were just coasting through.

The water being low will cause the fish to be even more spooked. They will see you coming 30 to 40 ft. away. You need to be as stealthy as possible. Bend down, behind rocks, logs, whatever cover you have available. No lie, I found that out last year.
