Any of you guys tried these? Thoughts? I like the idea of being able to change depths quickly and easily or just take it off. And no through-wire to tangle on either.

Pressure points from wrapped line will cost you a trophy fish. O-ring will fail and bobber will leak. big chunky looking bobber makes big chunky splash and might spook shallow water fish. I'll pass.

If you want a better popping cork, buy the Inshore Extreme from Bass Pro Shops. It has a titanium wire that won't kink. Tie about 8 inches of 30 lb flurocarbon on top of the popping cork. This will significantly reduce the main line getting wrapped around the cork and tangled in the beads.

If you want to adjust depths more quickly, just keep a few different length leaders ready to go and connect them to the bottom of the popping cork with a quick snap or snap swivel instead of tying directly to it.

Like sundrop, I do not like the idea of wrapping my line around that plastic float.
