I searched all your forum posts and did not see a trolling motor thread that you started. I did see that you participated in this one:
http://www.ncangler.com/forums/threads/58713-Kayak-trolling-motor-mounts-advice

When we delete posts/threads they are "soft-deleted" so that only moderators/admins can see them. We do this in case we make a mistake (it happens!) so we can reinstate them. But I don't see a trolling motor thread started by you.
Also, if members have a question about a thread or need us to check something please use the Support ticket system so we don't clutter up forums with housekeeping stuff. I'll leave this thread for a bit so you can see the response but then I'll delete it. Thanks.
I deleted a thread about trolling motors on kayaks...not necessarily on purpose, but I was locking it anyway.

What started out as a thread to get basic information became a thread with people arguing what a real kayak is and what "real" kayakers are supposed to be.

It became heated and derogatory comments and innuendos were being thrown around.

My intention was to lock the thread and take out the latest comments that had nothing to do with your question.

I'm not very good at precise moderation using my phone.

Yeah I remember the thread. Just pm "bwguffey" about adding a trolling motor to your yak. He's the man to talk to about how to do it.

It was a good question and if you were still looking for the answers, I'm not opposed to you asking again, after all, this is a great place for that.

I will try to do more involved moderating with a computer in the future! Hahaha!

This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
