here is a nice link that i use to look at the weather for the coast. when you pull up the site just click on the area you want to find out about and it will tell you wave height and wind speed. also if you want to look at the offshore forcast you can click on that section and it will take you to that forcast and just click on the area you want.this only pertains to North Carolina

Options are as follows:
#1 gives you land weather forecast
#3 is offshore marine forecast
#4 is nearshore with sub menus like #2 is Pamlico Sound, #4 is Cape Lookout to Cape Fear (I think)
#5 is tropical outlook
