I went out early yesterday morning to one of my favorite places to fish. At this lake I have specific spots that I go to every time and this is why. At the first spot I threw my topwater frog as my main goal for the morning was to get bass on one. I achieved this goal after a few casts; the bite wasn't explosive or special but it was a good fish. The fish weighed in at 2 lbs 12 oz and the gut on this bass was huge! After releasing the fish I tried topwater for another 20 mins with nothing biting so I threw my white chatterbait with a white swimmin fluke and on the third or fourth cast i started to wake the lure and that's when a hawg smashed it! This bass weighed in at 5 lbs 8 oz. After releasing that bass I moved on to my next spot. When I got to this spot, I could see a bunch of bait fish and they were being chased by something so I pulled out the chatterbait again and on my first cast I pulled it through the bait fish and all of the sudden you could seen this big wake come towards my lure and BAM! I got him! It weighed in at 4 lbs 14 oz. Trying to pick this bass up was harder than catching it lol! Every time my hand got near it, it would flop the other way! Overall it was an absolutely amazing morning!

Great day. I love the videos, it's almost like being there. That last strike at the end of the retrieve was great. The lure's almost back in, bam. Fightin' a big fish in close.

if yall want to keep something secret then yall need to crop your photos better. if I want to keep something secret then I don't post it or the picture is cropped with no recognizable landmarks. You can ask fishwhisperer, froggy and others is sometimes I recognize trees in peoples photos....ask fishincary about the part of the dock I recognized.......anyway that spot is right behind my house so i aint saying where it is, but others surely can recognize it. Just food for thought.

I don't tell anyone about it... if you know the area then well you might know where it's at, oh well. It's got some really good fish in it though.

Ill ask fishincary about it, im good friends with him. And I know that people might recognize this if they have been there before. Didn't say I was trying to keep it a secret but it's not like i'm sending directions to everyone and saying come fish here! so it doesn't bother me... I recognized the log he was standing in front of in the first of the 5 photos... and there are two guys that already fish out there who keep EVERY SINGLE ONE they catch... Tell me about it. Some folks saw my picks of the point and now have cleared everything away and now 5-8 of them are there every night now. Not sure they are catching anything since they destroyed the cover but they keep everything they catch. A few years back lake was loaded with crappie now very few after 30-40 people taking 50 fish a night out of the lake

It sucks when people keep fish like that from ponds and lakes... I could catch a ton of crappie and bass at a little pond, but a few guys showed up with their buckets and wouldn't leave till they were full. They wiped that place clean withing the first month of spring this year.

Although this post had the best of intentions, is was at a very public place and it created a few problems and irritated some. I apologize for this and will work on making it a little less obvious where I was. But, as public as this place is, it's well know already and people will find it either way.
