What does a 550-pound blue marlin that measures almost 10-feet long look like inside a 24-foot center-console boat?

Shame it's dead, but it sounds like just some bad luck. They weren't fishing for marlin and just got lucky in an undersized boat.

I'll bet that was a crazy couple of hours.

Question, what do they do with that fish- edible at all?
I believe so, I know during the big rock if fish die they donate them to a local food bank and some for research but not sure how that works.

Yes i've had some pretty yummy smoked blue marlin, I hear its got to be fresh though
Awesome! We caught one on my 20' boat and I est it to be in the 400lb range. He was just about dead, but I revived him and swam off.
