Here is my dilemma I’m in the market for a new bait caster and I’m looking at the Shimano Curado DC or the 200k. I currently have a 200e7 and love the reel. I need in put on if the DC is worth the extra money or should I just go with the 200k I’m going to be using it for weight less senko and light Texas rigs (1/4 - 1/2 oz)

if you have either one of these reels I would love to hear any pros and cons

Dave, looking at what you’re planning to use it for I wouldn’t spend the extra for the dc. It’s great for a bomber reel for cranks and frogs and such. But for light and controlled casts it isn’t worth the extra. I have them on crank and frog rods and love them there.

Thanks I was thinking the same thing I tried to find some reviews on the internet webs but they all seem to just want to become sponsored by Shimano and repeat what is said in the promotion videos
