Headed over to Umsted again since the outings at Lynn haven't been producing Started off working a buzz bait and one swirl up at it without a strike. Tried working a frog in the high grass areas and not a nibble. Finally decided ok time for the red eyed shad 3/4 oz Chartreuse bait color. Went with this one since the bright orange on bottom seemed like it would show up in the stained water better. Fifth cast fish on a little 1 ponder.
Moved on to another opening tried a buzz bait again and no luck so back to the red eye about 10th cast bam a little fry thing wasn't more than 1/4 a pound but it hammered the red eye. Very next cast another fish on this time about 1 pound again.
Moved on to near boat house and again had back to back casts yield two one pounders again on the red eye. Five bass in less than two hours and one miss on top water not a bad day at the lake.
