aliright i got a question...

since the begining of the summer, ive been fishin this pond behind my house...and im pretty much the only one who bass fishes it...
and i mean i fished it almost every day

its about 2 to 3 acres with hardly any structure at all cept a few lilly pads but not many. clear water, not every deep either. i think the deepest point might be 7 or 8 ft.

but i would catch bass every day sometimes 3 or 4 in a matter 2 hours or so, pretty good size but noth ever over 4 pounds
but now... im not catchin hardly anything at all.. maybe 1 or 2 a week...

so i figured its getting hot so there all in the middle. well ive been catchin a little more since then
but not near as much as i was...

so what happened to all my fish!!!!!
would appreciated some help

what time are you hitting it?? i have found that the bite dies early in the am -about 8 am- and stays off till after dark or there abouts..

well i would fish all and off all day... even in day time hours

but in the mornings too
it was weird it seemed most of my big hits were in the afternoon in stead of the evening...

Hot water... They are moving less, feeding less and much less aggresive. You would be shocked to know how many casts they just lay and watch pass by. You just about have to force and aggresive response an set the hook before they spit it out or just wait for the rare moments when they just have to eat. That's why summer fish are lean and look poor..... Night fishing and early,early (first light) is your best bet. Extremely slow presentation of soft plastics or aggressive "aggravator" type lures would be my guess....

Right, more finess fishing. Loud flashy stuff in the morning and evening. Wouldn't be surprised if the water level has dropped too due to lack of rain.
